2001 squeaky front drivers wheel well…grease fitting there??

    When I turn the steering wheel I hear a squeaky sound down near steering shaft…my pal said there is a grease fitting down there…I can’t find it …& he often talks out his ass.

    Is there any grease fittings near steering shaft??

    No there is not. It’s probably tie rods or ball joints

    This thread says there are zerks but I can’t see diagram where they are….

    That thread is talking about the grease zerks on the drive shaft. This is the diagram for that:

    But your problem sounds like it could be the u-joints on the steering shaft possibly, if it's not what Frenchy suggested. I don't think those have grease zerks.

    I agree w/ @FrenchToasty and @des2mtn on this, would be my first two things to check.

    But I'd also note, your truck description only says "2001 TRD Pro" (not sure what a "Pro" is, but ...) and doesn't say whether you're 4WD or 2WD, nor what cab type (AC/DC/RC). The zerks diagram above is only valid for 4WD trucks. 2WD had no zerks on the driveline from the factory.
