    My Toyota history:
    Back in ye olden days I had a 1978 FJ40 land cruiser, back when rolling around in a Toyota was seen as near treason. It was desert sand color (before it was even trendy) with a white top and ambulance doors in the rear. It was unreliable, lacked power, but always broke down at home; cold in the winter, hot in the summer and scary to drive over 55 mph, but dang I loved that thing. Never got stuck and always got me where I wanted to go, no matter what the weather. Oh and the big technology of the day was forcing the oil to go through the oil filter before the pistons on the 2F engine. The carb was also not ethanol friendly. Sold it for something economical and reliable. We all make stupid mistakes.

    Other Toyota's have been:
    * 1986 Toyota Pickup, Manual
    * 2004 Toyota Tacoma, Automatic

    If you do things right you can buy a Toyota pickup about every other generation. I seem to buy a new one every 18 years. This should be the 2nd to last 4 wheeled vehicle I own in my life.

    My Toyota future:
    Put a deposit down on an in-transit 1794 Hybrid, Magnetic Grey, Saddle tan and the advanced package at sticker. Never paid sticker, this is new.

    Other factoids:
    I love doing ham radio, currently love coding in python, smoking delicious meats, reading and tinkering around a bit in the garage. Always wanted to become a pilot, but not sure that's possible now. Love anything aviation and space related.

    Also I like fixed width fonts.

    Thank you. I did some military training in the Montgomery area and worked at the Gunter annex for awhile.
