It would be funny if @Darkness was back so we could get updates on his horrible Fed Ex shipments. And if he posted hourly, it would bump that thread down baby down....

I dunno why you bother hitting the other subforums but I'm also not poking fun that you do.

On that topic specifically, from what I'm hearing, this is the norm for everything made after Summer/Fall 2020 at this point. Once the backlash in "supply chain issues" hit home, as factories started running out of key components, corners got cut left and right, SOP went out the window. I've heard many OEMs are taking reliability hits on their late 2020 and 2021, and 2022 vehicles, tons of recalls and TSBs, but I dunno how much of that is true.

But if this is really true and it's something as stupid as a "D" being backwards, I just ... how do you trust they got anything else right when they can't even get the direction of the letters correct?

Who in the hell actually wants the new stuff?!

Actually, it's pretty obvious they got the "T" backwards too. :cookiemonster:

I think replying to the other sub forums, you got me. I don't know why either...or do I?
But this crap I have never replied to, it's just up there forever like MSC, or whatever the supercharger is.

One thing I remember that someone did on the commuter rail a couple years back was to place a shopping cart on the track. Train hit it and it had to slow down to 5 mph while it mangled the carriage in its wheels. Took the train maintenance guys two hours from what I read to remove it. I was 30 minutes late to the next stop and had to wait for a backup train to approach. Thankfully I wasn’t in a rush to be anywhere.

I'm doing this roof rack thing all wrong apparently.

There was another guy in a minivan that lived in this parking lot an entire year. He would move it to a new spot daily.

I knew a guy like that who lived in the back parking lot of AMD when I worked there back in the 90s. He did the same thing, but he had a much nicer RV he called home.

One of the guys I worked with would take his morning paper after he read it, put a rubber band around it and toss it against the side yelling “paper’s here!”.

I couldn’t stop laughing when I first saw it.

As wild as it is, I think it's becoming the new norm. Rent is so expensive here, you need at least $3k - $5k up front just for a decent efficiency apartment.

Atlanta is slowly sliding down the same income gap issues SFO Bay Area fell into 2 decades ago. Tie it in w/hyper inflation and wage stagnation, it's a jungle out there...

Edit: FWIW, it used to be cool to have an 'urban overlander' at one point in time. I guess it's only cool when it's not a necessity to survive off the street, though.
