Have the 2023 Tundra orders started yet?

I'm thinking of getting one this Oct/Nov and am wondering what the lead times are for 2023 1794 hybrid 4x4 TRD OR shortbeds?

 

I could be wrong but if they aren’t on the website I wouldn’t think so yet?

 

They were kinda slow/late getting the 2022s out. Could have been covid or because it’s a new platform. Either way I think it’s going to be a few months before 2023s are talked about.

 

I placed my order on 7/7/22, in Canada. They placed the order as a 2022, however the sales manager looked at their allowcations for my set up and the expected arrival (and I know we all know that’s a loose idea) of late December to mid January. Which the dealer confirmed in fact it will be a 2023. As they switch to the 2023 model year at the end of October/Start of November (so it seems).

From everything I’ve seen here, if your dealer doesn’t have it inbound and unsold chances are you, will place your order as a ‘22 and it will arrive as a ‘23. This was my experience. Hope that helps some.

 

I put a deposit down on May 6 and was told already I might be looking at '23 model year.

 

change over for assembly line production is usually july/august if i remember correctly.

 

i was wrong june is when you could start ordered MY 23 tundra per fleet status page.

 

I am in Canada and placed an order in January 2022 for limited crew max long box trd offroad in army green. It hasn't been allocated yet and dealer texted me the other day saying I will be getting a 23 model now, but they still have no update on allocation or delivery.... When I order they expected 4-5 months. It's now July and no sign.

Looks like 2023 orders started 1 June. It also gives some pretty good insight into delivery times.
