Yesterday put some gasket material between the cat plates to help stop the clanging noise. Also put a piece between the plate and the case. Was able to just loosen the rear bolts and gave me enough room to slide it in. The thin option just has so much flex, it did help though. Can see what the Barnes dome washers look like now too.

Put the front bed rail on along with the bike fork mount, had to run a tap through to clear out the bedliner. The locking skewer comes apart, so I took that out but will leave the mount there all the time as it's not too obtrusive. Will have to fine tune the position whenever I first use it.

Built myself a tonneau to work with the bed setup.

    Hell Yes!!
Nice fabrication skills. I assume you had the Leitner rack before you got the tonneau otherwise you would have gone with the top rail mount Leitner design.
I'm surprised you were able to pull that off as most tonneau covers have a locking mechanism that runs from side to side. Would be curious to see more pics.

Thanks, thats correct. I got the rack and then got a new truck with the bed boxes and such. Been making everything work together ever since. I'll post more as I finish. Likely in my build thread. It's nothing crazy but it works so far. I climbed on top and the cover supported me sitting on it. It's supported by the factory bed rails.

When I bought my truck, I had ‘TRD’ in red on the rims, so I named the truck ‘Black Widow’ since the rest of it was black. I’ve been adding a little more red here and there. I added the steering wheel covers today.

Thanks. My next is going to dip / paint the emblem in the grill. That’s the last outside chrome left.

How are you going to do that since its part of the sensor? Have never seen anyone able to take it apart to paint it. I have a vinyl overlay that covers most of the chrome emblem and its a huge improvement.

As @RobertD said, a vinyl overlay is what you will need. The TSS sensor is mounted to the back of the emblem. The emblem is also glass.

I haven’t done the research yet enough to give the correct terminology, lol. I just know that it’s possible to get it not chrome, but since you gave me the idea; thank you.

Gotcha. It's either a vinyl overlay or a smoked tint like @French Avocado has.

How do you like the automated startup up on the headlights? What was wrong with the taillights?

My concern was whether the operation of the sensor would be impaired. I went with the light smoke or smoke black. There was absolutely no impact. I wish I had gone darker with the dark smoke. My tails were a wrapping disaster that need to be re-done because I could not deal with the excess material from the double curves.

startup is badass love the look of the amber also. Tails came with these weird stains inside the housing(pics aren’t great but you can still see it, also the glue the used to seal the housing is coming out into the housing cuz they used too much, and they were chipped on the edge. I’ve seen others post similar issues but seems like a issue with the mold. Crazy we pay so much and have issues like this. Think I’m being too picky???

No you are not being too picky! If you were buying used then they would be fine but for new they should not have excess glue disfiguration. I would call them and see what they say.
