Picked up my new Lunar Rock Limited TRD OR yesterday and drove 300 miles home right off the lot with 4 miles on the odometer.

Overall, I like it! I am coming from a 2020 Tacoma, so comparing the Tundra to the Tacoma is all I all have for real world data.

Tundra is way more comfy seat position wise.

Tundra ride quality felt better than the Tacoma.

Not digging the chrome door handles, chrome badges are coming off this morning.

The 20inch TRD wheels need more meat, looking at wheels and tires now.
Tundra's radio/tech is way more complicated than the Tacoma Tech package!

Power - enough said...Tundra hands down. Had to go over a mountain pass on the way home, Tundra went over the pass with ease, my Tacoma would be downshifting and hunting for gears the entire up hill...even with a tune.

Headlights at night were about equal with the Tacoma's LED lights.

I used Eco mode for the entire drive and averaged 20.5MPG going 75-85MPH most of the way.

Dealer experience was awesome, best I have run across so far. Truck was built and put on a train on 6/22. Truck arrived at the dealer in Gilroy, Ca on 7/6, picked it up on 7/7. Entire transaction was done over text/email. I walked in the dealer and they handed me the keys, couple signatures and I was out of there.

    More to come!

    Nice.

I have been curious about the headlights compared to the Tacoma ones. I believe the Tacoma LED are better than the previous 2.5 gen Tundra LED's

The fact that they continue to sell as many Tacomas as they do is astounding to me.

On the money. Ive had a couple 21 tacos for loaners these past few months and I think if more ppl drove the tundra back to back with the taco most would choose the tundra

Congrats on the truck, my impressions are the same as yours, especially the seating position.

I do have to say a Taco is way better for some of the narrow passages while off roading, the tundra would not fit without getting major pin stripes/dents

I find that the roads are either big enough for a half ton or too small to want to bring a $45k mid size truck down.

I own an F150 long bed, a Lexus GX, and a 1995 4Runner. If the road is too small for F150 then its also probably to small for the GX and I am breaking out the beater 4Runner
