Back in February, my Tundra with 96k miles dropped a valve. It's been in 3 different shops (including a Toyota dealership) all with the same diagnosis, so I'm confident in that part.

My question is - has anyone done an engine replacement, and if so, any gremlins I should be watching out for? I've done it in the past, albeit in a Saturn, but it was hell afterwards. That's what Jasper gets you I guess, and this time a genuine Toyota engine was a requirement.

Any of you out there? I know I'm in the VAST minority, since these engines are pretty much bulletproof, but I'd love to hear your stories.
