Just wondering if anyone knew where people are finding these black Toyota Tundra badges . I have seen them on a few 1st gen. Are they painted or is it a custom product ?

    thanks

Basically. Plastidip for a non-permanent solution. Mask and rattle can for a more-permanent solution.

Plastidip strangely tends to hold up better. Paint on chrome eventually flakes unless you etch the chrome.

Only looks good on certain color trucks though. White looks better with smoked badges IMO.

I’m running 2nd gen badges on my truck. Nobody makes anything for the 1st gens

that looks pretty sick. I was thinking of putting 2nd gen on there but haven’t seen it on a 1st gen yet . Your truck looks pretty sweet. I like it.

did you buy chance do anything to make all your black plastic trim look new? Did you paint it or know a product to bring back the black in faded plastic?

appreciate it , as far as the plastics go. The shop that Bed lined the truck for me, shot the plastics with flat back paint. The rust oleum truck bed coating works well too. Just scuff it real good and paint, I had an xterra done like that

Take a WD40 can, cut it, and flip the letters around to make it 40WD?
