Don’t know if you guys have used Boost auto parts before but they are awesome. Their customer service is top notch - I had a question during install of some mirrors…I messaged them and someone called me within 5 mins on a Sunday.

I bought tow mirrors off them for my Silverado few years ago. Lots cheaper than OEM and you couldn’t tell a difference except for the Boost build quality was better than oem.

I talked to Boost this morning and they are working on Tow mirrors for 3rd Gen Tundra.

We all know the oem ones are going to have an outrageous price. I’m hoping these will be a good option like they were for my Chevy. I’ll post a pic.

I’ve never had a truck with tow mirrors myself. Only time I ever think I need them is when towing my pontoon though. Even when towing my pontoon (60+ times per summer as I rent it out as well), I’ve never came across a situation where I truly needed tow mirrors.

I will say though there’s a good chance I’d a cop turns his lights on behind me we’ll be in a low speed chase for a bit until he moves over to oncoming lane so I can see him :)

    Lol

I’ve always had a need but even if I didn’t tow mirrors are 100x more practical and useful mirror set up than a standard mirror (in my opinion).

The 2022 regular mirror seems bigger than that of the last gen (haven’t officially measured so take it with a grain of salt)…but I got a chance to see some tow mirrors on a Capstone at the dealer today and man they are HUGE!!!

If you are a person that tows often they are definitely going to enable you seeing everything.
