Picked up MGM Hybrid 1794 w TRD add on last night. 200 miles on it today - gas mileage 14.5 but I had it in sport mode

 

Still sitting at the dealer, hopefully PDI will be done tomorrow and I can take it away!

Thank you, I love your setup. How did fuel efficiency change after putting those tires and wheels on?

 

I average15-16mpg on street and 17-18 on hwy. Even before putting the bigger tires, I never really got the advertised fuel efficiency.

 

First road trip, Yukon/Alaska

 

I had 4 MGM tundras prior, and a streak blue metallic 07 prior to those. Love the MGM on the new body style, but hot damn do I not miss the scratches that color gets so easily!

 

Already found one on mine yesterday and it’s only got 3500 mi.

 

Picked mine up today finally. I'll get good photos this weekend.

DC => Lose a bit of room in the back, but I didn't want to sacrifice bed space....

 

So far it has been worth every penny. Been getting dirty rain from all the dust in the air and the ceramic keeps the dirt off. Taken a couple road trips and the bugs wipe right off as well.

 

My MGM is on its first trip to the lake.

Finally got some new wheels and tires ! Method 305 +18 , tires : 295/70/18 Yokohama x-ats. My truck is an SR5 premium with the load leveling suspension, non Avs... basically it's the basic suspension with rear air suspension. I've adjusted the air suspension lever in the rear, got about a solid 1.75 out of it. The front tires rub , passenger more soo. I feel if I go get an alignment it won't rub... not sure will have to test it out. I am going to put a rough country 1.75 level. When times right I will update the entire suspension and keep the air in the back.

 

You guys are killing me I just got offered a MGM Limited nicely optioned from my local dealer at MSRP. Said it is available in 23 days. Only problem is I don't need it until the end of the year and they won't hold it.

 

What were the options? Was it a crewmax 4x4 with 6.5 bed?

 

Crew max 5.5' bed which I know fits in m y garage. Pano Moon roof, PVM, 12 speaker premium audio, 14" screen, power pack with 120v in bed, wireless charging, running boards upgraded lights, 20" wheels. Can't remember what else and the write up is out in my car. It is pretty sweet. All in $62,500

 

Did you lift or level the truck, also what size are the tires?

 

No lift or level…yet. I’ve got a 1.75” Rough Country level kit that might go in soon depending upon if I hear about more front end issues with leveled trucks.
Tires are 275-75/18.
