2022 Tow Mirrors

I recently watched a YouTube video where a Toyota salesman said he hasn’t seen any new Tundras with the tow mirrors yet. Those are on my 1794 build wish list for my salesman and if they will hold up getting my truck I may reconsider, maybe. I can’t believe nobody has them yet. Please tell me somebody has them on their truck!

 

Every Platinum trim delivered in Canada has them & I’ve seen a few posts of a few limited trims in the US with them - just can’t find post pics to show.

 

I’ve got em. There are a few threads in this forum with pictures and comments about them.

 

They are very large. Some days I like the look, some I don’t. But I always like the functionality of them.

 

Are those mirrors fixed, or do they extend and/or fold?

Trying to figure out if there are factory tow mirrors that have power extend/fold.

 

Extend an extra ~4” or so. Auto fold when locked, manual fold, power fold w/ switch. Both mirrors auto-dim. They also have BSM + Trailer BSM. Power adjust.

Thanks, everyone. I feel better about the availability now. I not only want them for towing, of course, but I drive a tractor trailer for my current job and I really appreciate the large “west coast” mirror on top and the convex mirror on the bottom. Once you’ve used them, you want them!

 

how well does the backup/spot light work at night? Any chance you’d be willing to snap a few pics or a short video?

I chose not to get them cause I was told they do not auto fold…now I’m pissed lol well I will get them on my 2023 hybrid for sure.

Other than the turn signals, what additional lights are there? Puddle lamps?
