Rock chips

Hey guys,
Been trying to find a solution to protect the leading edge of my rear doors. The roads around here have been beating the crap out of the paint on my fenders and lower doors leading edges..

This weekend I plan on box coating the fenders and putting fender flares on so that one is easy, but I need a solution for the leading edge of the doors. Kinda like the plastic piece on the front bottom of the box.

I dont want my 18 Tundra to look like a 2020 Ram. Its too early for my fenders and door panels to rot out.

Anyone have any suggestions other than a box coating or 3M PPF?

Leading edge of the rear door should sit juuust inside the rear edge of the front door. A little pushing and pulling may be in order. Careful not to dent anything. Wadded up welding gloves in the jamb is the pro tip.
