    Hello,
I found a low mileage (25,000 miles) Tundra for sale. It pretty much checks all the boxes and is reasonably priced. The only thing I’m struggling with is its about 8 years old.

Is this a valid concern or should I not be concerned?

Edit: I currently have a 4Runner and have been looking to get back into a Tacoma/Tundra.

Just check underneath. That many winters in the wrong part of the country could cause more rust than you’d think, even with that low of miles.

Only issue with the ‘15’s is the small gas tank.

Mines a 2017, bought her new… but with the prices of new trucks the way they are, this might be my last truck. I’m keeping her til I can’t drive anymore. I say if it’s a clean truck and the price is right, I wouldn’t hesitate to buy it.

I'd run with it and never look back. Those low miles for that year is crazy. You can always put a bigger gas tank in it. With gas prices what they are, I'd leave it the hell alone lol

My 2015 has less miles than that and still has new car smell. Always garaged

Not sure why Hawaii would design a small ass tank. Most of our driving here is city and in traffic. We need a bigger tank than you think.

My comment was based on the idea that in Hawaii you could drive back and forth across the island several times before needing gas.
They don’t need a bigger tank, “than I think”. That’s why I added the 46g tank. That’s what I think.

    I love my 2014.

And when you’re offroading you only get 7mpg. So you’re basically looking for a gas station every 30 mins. :frusty:

I agree. Do it. I haven't had too much reason to complain about tank size with the 14.

Before my tank upgrade, I would fill up with gas and I could probably pass by one gas station before I was looking for another one!:rofl::rofl::rofl:

That's like 409 miles and like other man said, if you offroad, then just bring some cans with you.

Had over 350k miles on my 93 Pickup and 06 Tundra when we sold them. No issues. Over 450k miles on the 99 4Runner we sold. No issues. Not impressive but over 200k on a first Gen and couple second Gen Tacomas over the years. Just bought a 2016 Tundra with 152k miles on it, plan to keep it well into the hundreds of thousands after… I wouldn’t sweat it.
