I have been running 285/70-17 KO2's now for about 1500 miles on 17" Methods with 0 offset. Had slight rubbing with the 285's but nothing major. 2.5 inch lift in front and plus 1 in the rear Fox TRD Pro set up. I just snagged a set of brand new 35x12.5x17 Toyo AT3's off of Facebook Market place and I want to upgrade as soon as possible. My question is will I be all set by removing the Mudflaps and I also have the Coach Builder front bumper shims which will free up a solid 1/2". These mods will be done before mounting the tires. Anyone have a similar setup. Pics of truck with 285's for reference! 1E97F9E9-DCA7-494C-9D1F-32F2A1296F55.jpg229C8BAD-4486-4045-A6A2-6AB254F14F5A.jpg

Not the exact same lift setup but I’m running 3” up front with zone UCAs(wanting to upgrade to SPC)on method 17s 0 offset with Falken 35x12.50 and I get a slight rub even with a BMC.

It’s not a bad rub, it’s like only in reverse at full lock and hitting like a bump. But I also have 3” up front with the Zone UCAs that I believe have built in +3 caster.

I have 35x12.50s on 0 offset methods, I did BMC, trimmed some of the plastic on the rear of the fender wells, and removed the front lower plastic piece, also trimmed the bottom of the front bumper back at an angle. It will stuff to the bump stops with no rub. I think all of that is necessary to fully cycle the suspension on that setup.

I had to get a BMC to squeeze my 35's. Its really not as bad as your mind takes you in the thought that your cutting the truck. But you may rub more cause of the 0 offset. I have 25mm offset right now and have zero rubbing with a BMC and so minimal trimming on the front of the wheel well.

I have 35s and zero offset and didn't have to get a BMC. I did have to get my bumper trimmed. That could have been solved with bumper shims.

35's fitted, very slight rubbing toward full lock, I can live with it. Looks Wicked with 35's! Few pics! 08D19853-68A7-457F-87F7-3BC1B0318ED1.jpgCD274645-9BF5-4317-BB44-A3A7E98FE7FF.jpg

No bmc needed? Can you post some close ups of where you are rubbing and how much clearance between the front bumper since it’s moved?

No BMC for now. I just drove 200 miles after the install and all is well. I am on vacation. I will snap some full lock pics when I can. Right now I only get some rubbing when backing up and turning the wheel! But it’s not bad.

You’ll need a BMC and lots of caster.

2.5” level with zone UCAs. Only running 3.5 degrees of caster, with 35s, no BMC, no rub. All about offset and caster. I’m running icons 17x8.5+25.

I’m running 0 offset and normal caster with icon ucas. All in spec. No issues. Full bump no rub. And real 35s, not a 305/55/20 or a BFG 35. People way overcomplicate this topic.

Body mount chop, removed plastic trim piece behind bumper, trimmed back of the bumper at an angle, good to go!
