I just purchased the elkas 2.5 (07-Present Tundra Elka 2.5 IFP FRONT & REAR SHOCKS KIT. I was told by elka that I would need to upgrade my ucas "(for regular travel shocks)"
    What would you recommend?
Currently looking at the bds uca
    I'm new to this

    Function before sparkle.
From my understanding, the standard travel front suspension does not need updated UCAs, only the mid travel (which I have). The SPC UCAs go well with Elka and can be serviced/greased.

SPCs on my last 4 trucks, no issues. There are plenty of good options though.

Caster adjustment on the SPCs are nice, currently at ~4 degrees caster and truck can be driven with very little effort. Very nice for long drives.

Okay so since you picked up the IFP version of that kit there are 2 part numbers that you could have purchased:

90091 - This is the "standard" kit and is intended for 0-2" of front lift. This SKU DOES NOT require aftermarket UCAs
    90265
    - This is the "extended travel" kit and is intended for 2-3" of front lift. This SKU DOES require an aftermarket UCA

I have extended travel Elka 2.5s on my '21 Tundra currently, and I run SPC UCAs as well. Have been happy with them from the jump.
We have them in stock too if you do end up needing them

Finished the Elka 2.5", non res 0-2" install yesterday.
Wondering how much guys have found there Elka suspension has settled after install as I'd prefer to avoid back to back alignments if possible.

Keeping the Tundra lean into consideration I placed the strut assembly that appeared to be turned down a couple of more threads on drivers side.
I did notice in may case and it sounds like other s have found that the passenger side was sitting almost an inch higher than the driver side which I'll adjust out as required.
Having a full tank of fuel and empty bed likely affects or causes the lean I've heard mentioned?

The truck definitely feels and handles better on road.

I've had my Elka 2.5s for about 18 months now with about 1/4" of settling on both front sides. I don't anticipate it changing much from there.

Thanks for the feedback. Now to find an alignment shop that can work with me on the numbers and knows what they're doing.
There was a thread on another Tundra forum that provided recommended setup specs for caster/camber/ toe on the Tundras. I'll check on here for the same.
