Non Responsive Touch Screen

Hi,

Proud owner 2019 1794. Love the truck, as with most hate the stereo. I have seen various means and methods of upgrade suggestions posted. I know I will have to bite the bullet and upgrade.

Before I do quick question. What fixes a non responsive touch screen. Currently no updates available on Toyota site. Is there a quick fix for this?

 

Wipe it down or see if Toyota will replace it. Mine and three others that I know of act up not the screen but displays what it wants to on it’s own, stereo won’t play, screen goes dark just a bunch of random things. Dealer is aware has video and in touch with Toyota. One has demanded a new headunit but as with everything these days they do not have any idea when it will show up?? (Last I heard)

 

I clean it regularly. Will try again. Some areas work others don't. It's going to dealer this weekend I'll bring it up.
