The Desert Dory doesn't have all the room like you go fast party boat guys but we could be down for something like that.

Would just need a few weeks heads-up due to spring/summer being the busy season for the Mrs business. Depending on when it is she may have to adjust her schedule a bit.

We'll certainly be giving everyone a big heads-up. I think it would be very cool to have a many AZ brethren and ladies and the families together for the first annual AZ Tundras on the Lake event. Bring the Desert Dory! It will be a welcome addition!

Finished the stairs for the front porch today B2A89BF4-4427-4AD7-A1E7-A7F2852FAF05.jpgThe top 3 treads weigh about 80lb each. The bottom 2 are fibre grate. The stringers are made from the steel they use for the hitches on mfg homes. Only have about $40 in the thing. Almost 100% salvage.
Won’t have to worry about icing up in the winter and less mud will make it to the front door

Lived in San Antonio for a few years, courtesy of the Air Force. Liked the state, the weather and the women. Went to a rugby tournament held at university of Texas in Austin. Was kicking myself the whole way home, I should have went to college.

There are public hunting lands, but it's tough to hunt. No permanent duck blinds, obviously, and if you take the time to bivouac something out of brush, it'll be occupied by someone else when you get there the next day. Sun up until noon hunting, and you have to arrive by 3 a.m. if you want to get a decent spot without rubbing elbows with other hunters.

Dove hunting is the same. I went to a public hunt once, arrived by 4 a.m., and there were maybe 6 or 8 trucks already in the parking area. I'm sure everyone saw my tiny flashlight as I plodded across the field past a pond to the furthest tree line from the gate. After I settled in I saw maybe 6 or 8 other folks doing the same thing. I thought it'd be fine, because the field was at least 100 acres. When the sun came up, there wasn't a 50' gap inbetween any two hunters. Packed around ponds, bushes, and all 4 sides of the field. Probably 250 dove came down the tree line I was sitting, and I got two (I'm a decent shot). And opening weekend of dove season it's usually in at least mid-90's. Not the best day of hunting I've ever had.

About 2% public land in Texas
    FBFE297E-C90E-4D12-BDB4-76C1B46D19F9.jpg
by contrast, Arizona has over 42% public land. Alaska has the most.
You brought up another good point though… what state has the most idiots per acre?

One of the few things I love about Canada is the endless public land, or as the monarchists call it "Crown Land".

    This is British Columbia.

I’ll nominate MA for that. Given the density of population vs size of state. I was leaning towards Cali or NY, but they both have large tracks of nothingness to equal out the populations in the cities

It never ceases to bemuse me that Canada has such a prolific arms and armament industry, yet is so anti-gun.

My Fathers Day gift was delayed but completely worth the wait. Mrs. Bandito wanted to get me some new shades but I couldn't decide what I wanted. Then these came out.

Limited Edition Randolph Aviators - Olive Green Frames.

They have a great Veterans and First Responders discount, btw.

$300-$400k is a big gap. Any way we could narrow that down a bit?

Depends on the sound system and whether or not it comes w/a pullout fridge!

Plus, if you can afford $300k for a truck, you can afford $400k; so, it really doesn't matter!!!
