Been a long minute since I've turned rotors so I've forgotten what place to take them to...anyone know?

I'm assuming brake shops (duh) but was thinking parts stores?

Parts stores won’t have a brake lathe since they want to sell you new rotors. Most auto shops should be able to turn them.

Makes sense. Pretty sure I used to take mine to a parts store but it was an old school store where you could sit on the rusty stools at the counter and BS with the counter guy.

On vehicles that have just the rotor and not a rotor and hub assembly many shops feel comfortable just trashing the rotors and bolting on new.
Some rotors (not all) are rather inexpensive, so the shop merely does a remove and replace if they deem the rotors as faulty or warped.
Any decent auto repair outfit or machine shop can turn your rotors. I've had some done at Pep Boys maybe 20 years ago.

Some machine shops who do motor work will be able to do it. I’ve had to call around a lot to find places these days.

I’m not even that old and I miss some of the old school shops where it was easy to find someone to do this.

Most of the time now I just buy new rotors as I don’t have time to deal with finding a shop open on Saturday’s when I’m most likely able to get my brakes done.

    Alot of them
Napa used to turn them. No idea if they still do or not. I remember playing with the shavings in auto mechanics class in high school. If you sprinkle them over a flame, they burn like a sparkler. I am not responsible of you try it and set some shit on fire lol.

I have a local mom and pop shop that we used to take fleet vehicles to, and I took mine there, they did a good job, but I should have just bought new rotors
