We have a 2016 6.5 bed ext cab limited. Amazing incredible truck. That said it will not fit our custom tandem bicycle lenght-wise in the bed with a cap.

We tow a 27' trailer and camp alot so the current Tundra is absolutely wonderful.

I'd like to stick with Toyota but I really am not happy about losing more in-the-bed weight capacity and the lower trim level that all the 8' bed Tundras offer.

I'm posting this hoping someone has better info. than I've been able to find.

Plan "B" is not awful but certainly will do the job. I could get a CM 2500 passenger van and take the seats out. With a 6.6 engine and 9' behind the driver seat it will fit my bikes and tow the trailer...but it's NOT a Toyota!!!!
