Valhalla’s Shield theft deterrent/skid plates info and ordering post

Correct.

 

Installed mine last week with RCI skid plate. Install the RCI loosely with the nut plate, then tuck in the front cat plate. Tighten bolts. I tried to install with the RCI bolts at first... now that got difficult, but with the nut plate, super easy.

 

Just placed my order for front and rear plates!

Sooooo, we through April orders, yet?

 

We aren't going on a trip this year, but my nut plate did.
It is 250 miles from my place to Tyler's place.
That is basically next-day delivery.

But FedEx took my nut plate on a 3452 mile journey the last 2 weeks.
No fault of Tyler, he shipped it the day he said he would.
It should arrive tomorrow unless they ship it off again.

 

Waiting on movement on mine still for bare steel made on the 8th of April so still in late March probably.

 

That is just unbelievable.

 

Dangit. I placed mine on the 12th of April, and ordered powder coated. Was hoping April bare was done and was waiting on powder coat.

 

This is just simply nuts. On a plate.

Tyler got my order from 3/25 shipped. Both plates left TX on 6/22, and FedEx says delivery in CT on 6/25. Of course I will be away most of the day Saturday doing a color match chrome delete, so I hope they can just drop them in the driveway.

 

I just hope they get delivered before the engineered diesel oil shortage shuts down all the shipping companies in 3-4 months

 

I was looking at the GM 3L Diesel offerings when shopping for a new truck. I don't drive enough to justify the cost.

 

That nut plate traveling like that.. I have seen it before, it is just mind boggling it can do all that

I am into almost mid April. I have kicked up my shipping.

 

I have order something before (not Tyler's stuff) eBay said it was like somewhere in MN, which later turns out to be shipped out of Houston location, went up to NJ, to MA, down to FL, went over to CA, then WA then OK(?) then up to MN then ID and then back down to Houston, TX.....
It took 2 months...... I didn't cancel it just because I wanna see where it went..... Should have keep the screenshot of it.....Damn it, it went further than I ever did.....

 

Not just Fedex, wife was complaining today about an Esty purchase shipped UPS.
It went from Pennsylvania to California and is now on its way to Texas..

 

Don't get me started on USPS, they are even worse.....

OMG, I’ve had USPS shipments cross the country twice in The past. I detest that outfit.

 

That's exactly what happened to me; it 'vibrated' the entire truck, to the point where 'sympathetic vibrations' were set off in the dash. Annoying as @#$#$.

Spoke to Tyler who said exactly that - take the plate out. Did that, and all is well.

 

Does that include 22 model plates? I ordered 3 April, but thought I saw a previous post those were moving slower. Thx!

 

The 22 plates aren’t included in that, they are being made now

Been pushing some orders out, I hope I am making some people happy! I think I made it to April 18th today, I am trying to make it to May tomorrow, I have run out of pentagon bolts, so if you have an order with them, it will ship as soon as the new ones get here.

FYI, lifted cat plates, front skid plates and 22+ plates are all being made, don’t feel skipped, they are getting knocked out too

If you have a bare steel 1/8 or 3/16 order that you want upgraded to black powder coat, I have a bunch of both and I can accommodate orders until mid May for this upgrade

 

I regret not buying the shield for the rears back in April when I ordered the front shield.

Is it difficult to get to the rear cats without it? I heard they were only resonators anyway. Any truth to this?

 

They are legitimate catalytic converters. They have a stamped code on them (what the recyclers use for valuing them)

The good news is that adding a rear cat plate won’t mean you have to remove the front cat plate

 

I HAVE FOUND A LOCAL HYBRID TUNDRA!!!

I am measuring it this weekend and rushing production on a first model. I am very excited to provide protect for the hybrid tundras.

I received my beautiful red powder coated plates for my TRD Pro a week ago, but just now had time to put them on. WOW! How great does it feel to know there is a deterrent for these thieving arsewipes? When you see all four Cats on these Tundras, it's a wonder they aren't being hit more often - super accessible for a quick strike.

Tyler, It would have taken me 1/3 the time if I had known the bar with welded nuts to it was for the TRD plate bolts. I spent about 30 minutes scheming how I was going to get a retaining wrench on the top bolt to counteract the pentagon head bolt tightening. Then I remembered the bar and thought, "hmmmm, I bet that's what that little bar was for!" What a genius item as it saved the day. After that it was easy peasy. Thanks brother!
