Waiting at dealership for leaky roof repair. I hope replacing drip molding is all that’s needed to stop leak. Does anyone have experience with this repair? Also service agent pointed out flakey paint. He thought it was warrantied and went as far as suggesting I plan to leave it for new paint job. BUT Looks like blue is excluded from paint recall even though my truck has evidence of faulty paint. Has anyone successfully fixed their paint either on your own or with Toyota?

repaint is how you fix faulty paint. If it is flaking off, it is compromised and would need to be sanded, prepped, resprayed.
