The police agreed. This isn’t over yet.

Cameras going up this weekend. Also cleaning out the garage so we can park our vehicles in it. Going to look up the remote announcers like you suggested.

We thought the same, and so did the police. (The police got seriously pissed off. The Wilco SD was particularly pissed off).

Mounties in this case. And rarely, but it happens. Thankfully he had no problem following orders and then eventually proving the situation with his ID and registration.

I do remember vividly how he was jacked up on adrenaline he was about 1/2 hour after. And this happened near 20 years ago.

I got jacked up the few times the red and blues lit up in the rear view. I can't imagine a felony stop. I don't blame him.

I would contact a lawyer and find out what options you have. Chances are the company will not face any criminal charges. But a good lawyer should be able to get you some money for what you had to go through. Everything from damage to your cement to loss of the Tundra while it was missing. Maybe even money for stress.

Security is worth its weight in gold. Military gave me a splash of PTSD and my husband fled Russia years back so when our wonder twin powers combine..
we have a carpet of blink cameras with motion alerts and the fortified garage with motion sensors. We’re in the boonies and theres not really crime here but theyre nice to have still. If a squirrel farts too loud in the front lawn we’ll know about it.
Your garage more than anything should be a deterrent. Cant steal it if they dont know its there to begin with.
So glad you got your truck back!:fistbump:

I would do everything I could to take that company down. Go online and file a BBB complaint as well. Glad you got it back.

I would do everything legally I could to get compensation for what they did. I would try my hardest to make it hurt them monetarily!!:)

    Some.
    Glad you got it back.
Because they didn't follow the law, there is a whole bunch of possible charges and causes for compensation.
Grand theft auto, trespassing, property damage, illegal tow, fraud.

I know that you said you checked your truck over carefully but also take a look at your owner's manual regarding tow procedures. My manual says that the truck should only be towed from the front or rear with a wheel-lift truck and a towing dolly under the rear or front wheels. It can also be towed using a flat bed but I doubt that was the case. Your truck may have driveline damage if it was towed improperly and that might not show up for a while. I would find out exactly how they towed my truck and how far. I would also want them to be responsible for any driveline damage/or related damage that might not surface for a specific time.
