Thought to share my experience so you guys can make your own decisions. Here's the rundown.

    - My truck is NOT set up for towing. 6" lift, 35's, blah blah.
    - We wanted a TT, I was terrified so I started googling.
    - It's sort of like, I might have a rash, go on webMD, next thing you know you think you got aids.
    - I went down the rabbit hole of add a leaf, bags, all of it. Head spinning.

In the end, we added the 4 point sway / weight distro hitch, minimal squat and it tows great (so far). The TT is a Jayco Jayflight, I think dry weight of around 5300 or so. On the way home in Tow / Haul mode with gain at 5.5 it pulled great, going up into the mountains where we live (8-9k feet) the 5.7 was on the struggle bus a bit but no big deal.

I get it, perfect world I'd have an F350 or Dodge 3500...or even a stock Tundra but I got what I got and it seems to work well. Granted, we got 3.5 miles to the gallon on the way home so not exactly affordable but hey it's only money right! Damn. That's depressing as well.

    So, pics.

Nice choice on the hitch. That's what I went with as well and dry weight on my trailer is similar. I was getting about 8 mpg on flat ground in a cross wind in S4 on our first trip.

    I have 2022 Tundra SR5 crewmax TRD POR 4X4 ,
I tow a Lance 21', 5500 loaded , tandem travel trailer, Blue Ox WDH
It tows great, 11-12 mpg most of the time,,
It sags about 1.5", and I am considering air bags of timbrens eventually
but overall , a real enjoyable towing experience

Meaning you're 0.5" above level in the rear? Perfect. Don't change anything.
