I'm completely new to the upgrades game, but I really like their Covert Bumper.. I of course have no use for it, but it looks pretty dang good in my eyes...

I really am contemplating ordering the Baja bumper. Main reason I haven't is I'm concerned how annoyed I'd be with the dynamic aero throwing codes. Makes it hard to make the jump without knowing more.

Just read that the covert bumper does not work with active spoiler. Does anyone know if any other front bumper works with the active spoiler. I really dont even notice the benefit maybe I will once I remove it.

There’s no fix for Tundras that have the active air dam right now. At least no fix that I’m aware of. Even shops who reconnect the air dam motor and just zip tie it out of the way are finding that it’s still throwing codes. There seems to be more to it than just the motor. Likely additional sensors or something that are tied into the ECU

Closest thing I’ve seen is the guys over at Expedition Overland claiming to be working with Toyota directly on a solve. They mention that in their most recent video for their Tundra build.

Does anyone have experience with CBI bumper and RCI engine skid? Heard they don’t mix but could just be certain ones.
