Just wanted to mention incase some of you didn't know that if you shop at Safeway you get Safeway points you can use toward saving on gas. I filled up my tank last week and saved $1 per gallon for 25 gallons. Not too shabby.

Ingles here at s.carolina does something similar. Problem is, their grocery prices are more expensive, so you offset those dollars saved on gas by paying more for apples and sausages. And you need to buy a lot of groceries to achieve meaningful discount.

But thank you for heads up.

300 hectares on single tank of kerosene
You are correct, but they over charge by 15 cents.

Nothing beats the people idling in a 45 minute line at costco to save 4 dollars on gas

I try to go to costco 15 minutes before the gas station closes. So if I wait it’s maybe 5 minutes tops

Before going to bed, I feel obligated to share my secret.

Sam's club credit card gives you 5% cash back on gas and you don't have to earn any points or whatever. 5% works for gas at any stations. Intense savings, nothing more, nothing less.

Upside is a good app as well. This week I have saved 15.00 at random places. You can use the app for groceries and restaurants.

We do Kroger/King Soopers/City Market fuel points like you do. I usually redeem 70.00 in fuel savings, plus 1.5% on all CC purchases, and now the Upside.

Very good tip especially those on a tight budget.

Another tip for those of you who shop at Fry’s. You don’t have to use those fuel points only at the Fry’s fuel stations. You can also use the points at most She’ll stations. If you utilize the Fry’s app on your phone, they’ll oftentimes have 2x or 4x the fuel points when making certain purchases.

    Welcome.
We don’t have but one or two shells in town now, “speedy” or “speedway” bought them out?
It’s been like this for a while; two gas stations right across the street from each other and the same brand…… both are now speedtown, both have their unique trashyness about them.

I use Upside as well. The issue is you have to keep referring people or find promo codes in order to get the extra bonus. My last 2 purchases of gas 27 gallons (24 gallons and 18 Gallons) did not pay out correctly and I have an email out to them. Between my wife and I, we have got about $100 in gas rewards in about a 1.5 months

The BJs near me is the same. Most of them are small car so they save $2. I actually have the Gas Buddy card and get the same price as BJs with no wait.

Used upside the other day, seemed like a good deal at first, but the next week the only discount was like 1 cent off. Gas is cheaper in WY compared to CO so guess the savings don’t carry over.

I use the GETUPSIDE app for gas and food cash back.

Even have my company's gas card on there for extra earned money

I noticed the same thing when I use to use it. Either .1-.3 cents off or very limited gas stations. Now I just use Gas Buddy. Always the same gas stations and on average it is around .10-.13 cents off. Like I said, I get BJs gas prices without the wait.

    LED headlamps/fogs; interior footlamps.
Amex Blue Cash pays 6% at grocery store, i buy gift cards that I use for gas purchases there.

Discovery and many other cards have quarterly rotating discounts, 5% on gas right now.

Its something but I am so lucky I work from home...

Has anyone noticed gas stations ganging up on prices? If it's 4.56, it's everywhere in town, if they go up 4 cents, same thing happens everywhere else.
We are truly living in end times.
