I installed a IM4x4 kit on my truck and a few weeks later, I have a loud squeak coming from Front driver. We think it’s the control arm, but before I swap it, I noticed some wear on the bottom strut mount, and from looking at pics of these struts on tundras, it seems most have the spring ends facing inside towards the engine bay.
I want to recall when I installed, they would only go in 1 way. Maybe I’m wrong?

    Is my set up normal?

Grab the washer on the top of the strut and see if you can twist it with your fingers. Mine FCP’s had compressed the rubber and become loose, causing the upper shock mount to become loose and start squeaking. Ironman did resolve the issue by sending me out a new pair of struts.

    Ill go check.

Does your lower strut have a wear mark where it's contacted the truck, like mine?

No. and looking at your picture, it looks more like a scuff from the installation rather than a wear mark. The easy way to check is squirt a little WD40 on it and see if the squeak goes away
