So this is my first 4X4. The manual states that they recommend using 4 wheel drive at least 10 miles a month to keep everything lubed.
What if I don’t live near a place I can really use 4 wheel drive?
I thought using 4 wheel drive on pavement was bad for your truck and tires?

Fine in a straight line, just avoid sharp turns. But if you can keep it dead on straight youre good.

10 miles a month is pretty aggressive. Flip it on for a block or two every few months and you'll be fine. Do it when you're going straight, if there's some curve in there the thing won't blow up so don't overthink it.
