I am about to tackle turn signal lights in my '11 Tundra. I am not really enthused about installing resisters to deal with the Hyper Flash problem. I would rather change the flasher. Since it is a bit of a job to get to the flasher, I want to make sure I have the correct one. To those of you who have done this, recommendations on the flasher? I want to do it once and be done with it. Thanks in advance!

If you go with a Vleds V6 Triton, the resistors are plug and play. No cutting or splicing.

I just plugged LED bulbs into my reverse lights. Bright as all hell, no obvious issues. But, should I be adding resistors? Gen 1

No. Resistors are only for hyperflashing of turn signals.

Has anyone used the VLED bulbs, and which ones? Just got my front windows tinted and they are 15%!! So the stock reverse lights are not nearly bright enough.

My entire truck is Vleds except for the Morimoto headlights. Get the LPR system too....that alone is 1800 lumens. :D

Do you have a link For the triton series reverse lights?

Any reason you got those over the VLEDs? Thanks

LPR is the license plate frame light bar. I had the HO reverse bulbs until I switched over to the tail light conversion. I actually still have the 921 red led turn signal bulbs, HO reverse bulbs, and Triton brake lights that I removed when I did the conversion.

Type in your year and model for the right bulb connect type.

    https://www.vleds.com/shop-products/v6-triton.html

    https://www.vleds.com/shop-products/lp-series.html

After almost 4 years of running them on my Tacoma and had nothing but long lasting and great output. It was a no brainer to run them on the tundra.

Also 4+ years ago, they weren’t as expensive as they are now.

Does anyone know which direction is best to point/rotate the VLED HO 6LED bulbs, you can loosen the small alan nut and rotate it, but realized I’m not entirely sure which direction is best?

LEDs pointed both up & down (3 on each side)

    or

    LEDs pointed to each side?

Which location are you installing them? If the reflector is curved to the top and bottom, then the leds would face the same way. If it's side to side, then the leds would be side to side as well. Hope that makes sense.

my bad, it’s the reverse lights on a 2.5gen

I’m thinking installing them so the LEDs point to the sides, since that’ll allow 3 of the LEDs to point directly outward, I’ve got 15% tint, so it’s damn dark reversing at night.

You want them to face the reflector for the most output. I have 5%. I also have the Vleds license plate light and 2 Rigid flush mounts in my rear bumper.
