Howdy Tundra folks - as the title reads I’m a new Tundra owner of a 2019 SR5 with a slightly crooked bumper. Love the truck otherwise.

Note that the fender bumper gap is different between right and left. I’m not really worried about the imperfection provided it doesn’t indicate possible frame damage underneath like cracked paint or something.

I’m still within the return period. Want your opinions - is this a worry?

    Thank you!

Welcome from LA (Lower Alabama)! I would thoroughly check the frame and support steel behind the bumper. If there are no issues, I would not be concerned about it.

Mine was just like that when brand new. Several others have noted this issue straight from the factory as well. I had my local dealer realign it for me under warranty. I think there was a thread on here about how to align it yourself if you don't want to take it in.

    Too many, but not enough....
Believe it or not this is a very common issue. Mine had it as well but I went with an aftermarket bumper so its fine now. It is an easy fix if you are a little handy and care enough about it to fix it. There are 4 nuts on each side next to the fog lights that you can loosen and adjust. Yours actually doesnt look that bad.

It will never be truly straight, being mounted to the end of the frame allows it to flex on uneven ground. You can even get pretty solid contact if you take it off road at all. If you get it on level ground though and it still contacts you can loosen the mounting nuts and adjust it a little. But the next time you park on any uneven ground it will look off again.

I had the same problem a while back. If you take out the fog light assembly there is a pair of bolts you can loosen up to readjust the bumper to you liking. Make sure you've got an extension cause the bolts are a little far back. There's a forum that I found somewhere about it that's got better instructions and pictures.
