That could be described here in PA as rust free. Lol.

Nothing to worry about in those pictures.

Doesn’t look bad from those pics, but worth cleaning up and treating if you get it.

Check the spare tire support and rear gussets by the forward leaf spring hangers. If they look good, the rest looks pretty surface.

I’d buy it. That’s got the rust of a 3 year old vehicle here. Just surface rust; nothing to worry about.

Thanks again for the input. I just texted the seller letting him know I'm back in the game.

I thought this looked bad...I think I've been looking at frames that have been painted over.

Keep the advice coming if you are just now seeing this thread. Thanks All!

Oh gosh bro, thats miniscule, especially for a truck this age. From the pictures looks good to go. i definietly agree that if you get it clean it up and treat it with a good lanolin based product to maintain this good condition.

also check the radiator cross member/support, but from the pictures shown, I don't even consider that as rusty. for a 2006 it's mint

That's nothing man. I live in VT and you'll have rust like that after 1 year on a brand new vehicle. Lol

Just a little bit of surface rust there.

That's not rust, rather, just a little oxidation. Looks great, hope you get the truck!
