Fourth Mod - Like em a Little Husky

So with the kids, dogs, camping and winters, I never feel like the stock liners cover enough area. Having a Husky already in the Tundra made the choice easy as to what I'd be doing in the 4Runner. Got the full set, plus cargo area. Once it warms up a little, I expect the curls will even out as they normally do.

Fifth Mod - Step Up! (Not The Movie)

The running board that came stock isn't one that we liked very much. It is hard to use even as a step, and I'm just not a big fan of the overall look. Not that there is anything wrong with it, my uncle likes the way it looks. (Seinfeld Joke) We decided for now we would match what is on the Tundra by going with the Nfab steps, since we could get them almost overnight and then once we build out the new Tundra, we will probably be ordering those sliders from #BAMF. I can happily also say I have created a monster as my wife has held firm that not only will she have the main say in what gets done on the T4R but that she wants to do the work herself, as much as possible!

    That's what I'm thinking too..

The nfabs make it a bit more aggressive looking.

Yar a lift will be nice and the boards were a little too soft on the appearance. Since upgrading the tires and steps, I"m liking her direction so far lol

    Flux capacitor!
Congrats on not one but two very capable Toyota Pros! I have two buddies with the 4Runner pro and they do great off-road. I got my wife hooked on the mod bug by showing her pics of vehicles like hers already done like I wanted. She would look at the photos and say that looks great! I let the photos do the sales pitch to my wife for me. Lol

Sixth Mod - When I Dip, You Dip, We Dip...

Following the learning trend, the next project my wifey wanted to tackle was dipping out the fenders. She wanted (I agreed) that blacking them out would help pull the side steps together and bring out a bit more of an aggressive look to the T4R. She plans on also doing the roof rails black, until we order up a Gobi (which currently is the plan for the future) and I think the TOYOTA on the grill she wants to do white like we did on the rear accents. All in all, I'm happy to see her attempting these things and has taken to the joy of modding as I have on my Tundra... our bank account otherwise has not been as happy... I guess keep that economy rolling though. o_O

Thank you very much good sir!

I let her know that often... keeps me out of the dog house at times when I should be there lol.

She's just cool like that. Seeing what I've done to the Tacoma we had and the Tundra, she just fell into it. It's been fun working on it together.

    Thanks brother!

    Seventh Mod - Glare Reduction

It's been a while since we've been able to tackle another project, so we just had to get something quick out of the way before some future plans to satisfy the itch. Weather here has rained just about every day off we've had, so its been frustrating to say the least and we've been trying to get the Tundra up to where we wanted before we could begin some projects on the 4Runner.

7 quick applications of some dip to the hood to get some more black on white contrast spread and to help soften the glare off the hood. I've noticed it had helped on the previous Tacoma and Tundra, so we liked the look and possibly benefit of doing it on Runner. First plan was just to keep it as a center strip, but it was easier to make the clean lines doing the full hood, so we MAY update the look, but for now we're going with this!

LoL = We've been away for a week at Disney... so now = broke hahaha.
Hopefully some more minor cosmetic updates to be coming on both Tundra and Runner.

Need to repair some of the account damage that damn Mouse did however.

Hot and stormy every evening, but a lot of fun.
Kids had a blast, which made it more enjoyable for us.

Everyone stuck it out well and we got to see/do just about everything we wanted at each park.
    Success all in all.

I missed my Tundra all week while we were gone.
4Runner, I have no complaints about. we drove about 20 hrs or whatever over the 2 days each direction and it was comfortable, but that V8 power... I missed that hahaha.

Eighth Mod - Let em Know!

It's been a while with life getting in the way, but we finally got some custom decals up on both trucks.
Mixing our love for our kids and Warcraft... whichever order you want to put those in... we got these done through TacomaWorld member @ruggedT who has dealt with me on each of my truck custom decal projects and has always delivered some great things!

    Enjoy!!
