Hi gents, I just purchased some king 2.5s. I actually found them in stock on a website after searching for months and even being on a 8 month waiting list. Im going to slowly stock up on my suspension build as im currently on the IR with a broken fibula and tibia. I'm really contemplating putting a coachbuilder shim to get about 3.5" lift. I know it's not really advisable. I don't go offroading much so it's more for visual pleasure.

Here's my question. With so many uca options what do you guys recommend? I bought the truck with crazy offset rims. They are like -40 so I'm not sure if that makes a difference in my options. I've been looking at TC, Camburg and SPC thus far. I was leaning toward the Camburg balljoint style but I've read there's rubbing issues? What do you guys think is the best option for a low maintenance uca? Especially ones that arent going to squeak, that drives me nuts. Like those trash rough country kits.
Also one last question. I'm looking to strengthen up the rear a little bit for towing purposes. What's a good option for this without hurting the kings ride quality? Leafs, shackles? Thanks for any advice!

Just crank the kings up, they're adjustable shocks, you don't need a shim.

I personally have Camburg ball joint arms. I recommend ball joints to everyone since uniballs in my experience are a squeaky bitch regardless of how you treat them. I'm on stock wheels and 35s with no rubbing, I would think most UCAs have the same clearance with the tire. I don't think you can go wrong with most brands, but I've had Camburg and worked on their stuff on multiple vehicles and it's always been great.
