Congrats - that is a great looking truck. The black definitely hides some of the more controversial looks of the Tundra and looks awesome on that TRD Pro. Glad to hear there are still some good dealers out there. I am a big believer in karma and maybe antiquated but I think honesty and integrity will also win in the long run.

Looks awesome. I’m not a fan of the digital camo but on the black it actually looks pretty nice.

Congratulations bud! Looks great and know you’ll be enjoying it!
Yeh my dealership here in NE Louisiana pledged to do the same and did on my Limited.
I can’t say I blame any dealership that wants to markup a couple grand, especially if they are adding some other features, but it is beyond sad to see dealers over the last couple years adding on 5-10k extra (or more) with literally zero additional options. I’m all for free market but thankfully some dealers such as ours are holding strong to give us that option!
What’s been more saddening to me has been dealers I’ve seen try to sneak in a 4,5,8k+ cost on what appears to be an option or package, when in reality the fine print reads something like ‘PKG: MKTADJ’.

My initial impression is WOW! I’m an retired guy coming from a 2008 F150 to this. My wife drives a 2006 Lexus. We both pay cash and keep our vehicles forever. She convinced me to go with Toyota over GMC. I’m over FORD after replacing every electric window motor at $1,000 a pop. I got on the TRD Pro in the Fall and got lucky. It drove itself home! I’ve been studying the “gadgets and buttons” on YouTube. I may not graduate!

I lucked out. Initially Black was my third choice. This one came in first and I accepted it. Looking on YouTube Etc, I had come to the same conclusion. Black is the best of the four colors offered for this truck.

I’m 68 years old and this is the first vehicle that I’ve drove off the lot and not lost money on! I retired and needed to replace my 2008 Ford F150. We are purchasing an Airstream and I thought this would be good for that. We like going out west and this will work for us on BLM land, Big Bend National Park etc. Nice ride in the city (such as it is less than 10,000 in the entire county) too. Paid over 25% more than my first house cost me (new build) in 1981 :spending:

Congratulations on the Pro and congrats for getting it for MSRP. I'm a camo nut so I'm grooving on the digital camo.

I'd love to see the inside.

Are you sure you're not upset about getting the Electric Lime? :boink:

I've seen a Tacoma Pro in it and the 4Runner Pro in it and that's got to be the worst color Toyota has ever come out with.

Please post some pics of the inside. :)

Congrats on your vehicle! It's already been said, but I'll echo it; any of the exterior nuances (at least for me personally) are negated by the black exterior. It looks sharp, and I'd like to see the interior as well... It looks to be black also, but I can only catch a glimpse through the windshield.

I think we are all looking forward to seeing it at play; in whatever that is for you and your family (towing, camping a little off road or just posing for a photo at sunset).... Enjoy the truck!!!!!!

Toyota calls it black interior. It looks grey to me! Got lucky as red interior would have been a deal breaker because the wife hated it in preproduction models. Happy wife, happy life. I will post some interior pics mañana

Great looking truck! The TRD Pro accents and little exterior bits really separate it from other Tundra trims.
Although that color combination is not my preferred, if my dealer called me tomorrow and said my TRD Pro is incoming, I'll take whatever they send me at this point.

Good man! I thought the red looked a little rough, especially with the Camo pattern.

It’s everything I hoped for and more! But keep in mind, not really a “car guy”. I’m coming from a 2008 Ford F150 Lariat with cruise control and electric windows, not much else. No Sirius XM, no cameras not even a single backup cam. Also, I’m old school, taking it easy for the first 1,000 miles. The ride is fantastic and the truck no turns heads here in my little Hill Country rural community in north central Texas. My wife really likes it and says it rides like a sedan. She loves the sound system. I’m pretty much deaf so they all sound the same to me. I’m old. She is not. :hattip:

    great looking truck,

you seem to like to take pictures, willing to snap a couple pics?

can you pop the hood and take a couple pictures of where the marker lights are mounted in the top of the grille? curious to see how they are mounted, am participating in a couple of other threads about switching over to the TRD Pro grille

Where is the switch to turn on the grille light bar? Center console or lower left dash? Wondering if I can use it to run aux lighting.
