I am really scratching my head and have a few hours reading threads but I can't quite find an example like mine so here we go:

I recently replaced a burned out fog light with the same OEM halogen bulbs, I did both sides. During the couple of days I had the bulb out to source the replacement I did not drive the truck. I left the connector for the missing bulb hanging. It may have rained once or twice during that time, I don't recall exactly.

After replacing the fogs and not testing anything, I came out the next morning and discovered the high beam indicator glowing (not fully bright like when high beams are on) and had no parking lights or low/high beams or fogs. Turn on parking light and headlights and the beam indicator goes full bright like normal. Brake lights and signals work normally and the lights blink normally when use the fob to lock up.

I have pulled every fuse and found them to visually check good. I have not put the meter on them to this point. I had replaced both headlights in the last year and a half or so (again, OEM bulbs only with no issues until now). I have pulled all four bulbs and all appear good and the connectors look OK, no visible corrosion. All four bulbs felt like they reseated in the connectors well.

Ground issue? Where do I look?
    A turn signal lever issue?
    Any other thoughts or suggestions?

    Thanks so much,
    T

It does sound like a switch issue, but odd that the fuses are good. Ive had my front bumper off and fog connectors open for a few months, and didnt have any issue, even after rain. I know the circuit is funky, with a switched ground or something, maybe throwing a meter on it will give some insight.

My issue turned out to be a bad ground connection under the steering column at a connector/connection!

    What a PITA!
