2013 LIMITED NEEDS 360 CAMERA SETUP. SUGGESTIONS PLEASE

I’ve kinda asked this question before, and never did anything. I’ve now found someone I trust to do the work so I would appreciate any input you all can give me. I also plan to replace my mirrors with the Platinum ones.

 

I do not know of any dash cams with 4 cameras.
But I do know that some of the Kenwood stereos come with 4 camera inputs.
Kenwood makes a dash cam, rear cam and use a "rear" camera on each side of the truck.

Side Cams
Think you use rear cams in side cam spots.

Look at the units on the Kenwood page. They have info on how to integrate the cams into the system and the features. Since you are upgrading the side mirrors you may get lane departure warning and/or blind spot warning.

I am still researching the exact same issue. There may be other stereo head units from other brands that also have 4 cams. I have not looked at other units yet.

For now, to have 4 camera views recording while I drive, I currently I have 2 Vantrue 2 camera 4K dash cams. One is mounted in the front window and the "rear" camera is aimed out the passenger side. The other camera is on the back window and the "rear" is aimed out the driver's side. I have a DC. So did not have to make a mount for the camera at the headliner if I had a CM the rear windows roll down I would have need a mount/bracket.

Since I got the dash cams, you could not find any stereo units and then the price of the units skyrocketed I have not made a decision yet.

 

Thinkware just released a multiplexer system to run 5 cameras. It is only compatible with 3 of their camera models currently.
