I hit a huge puddle turned it off and it won't start back up. Has fuel pressure. Could it be crankshaft sensor?

    1) Any codes stored?
    2) Any recent maintenance worth noting? CP sensor is known to have pulley cut-through if not properly secured after timing belt/water pump work.
    3) Have you gone through basic startup testing?

Let it dry out, try again.

Could be any one of a hundred things at this point.

    Wicked video,
Is there any others like this to help troubleshoot shoot. Currently my truck turns over. But it's not starting. Wondering if there's a video on trouble shooting fuel pump/ relay.
I just did fuel pump a few years ago. But. That doesn't mean nothin'

    Thanks,

Relay is easy enough to test, and to jumper, as you see in the video. You just need to know which pins to jumper to complete the circuit once the relay is pulled. If you get a cheap code reader and scan, may also give you the exact issue.

Maybe stupid questions first, but ...

You did check all fuses and relays in the engine bay box, and in the cabin?
Did you confirm the crank position sensor wiring is intact, no rub-through? (link)

Some other stuff that may help:

    Checking fuel resistor: https://www.tundras.com/threads/the-professional-hand-model-reinvestment-‘build’-a-chronological-story.46816/page-6#post-1804843

Check crank position sensor, whose wiring sometimes gets rubbed through if not properly secured after TB/WP is something to check, trace the wiring from the sensor:

Since it has fuel pressure, i’d concentrate on spark related connections. Hell, check the seals and dielectric grease all the connections.

how big of a puddle? The last guy to full speed a puddle…either broke a piston or bent a valve, i dont really recall, but it was a big enough puddle to get water into the combustion chamber.

Damn, didn't even think about that one

I just assume if someone says "puddle" we're talking about an actual puddle, i.e.

I'll never understand people who say "puddle" when it's actually more like this...

    Or even this...

The truck sits for long periods of time, always starts with just a touch of the key. The last time I went to start it, it took 3, 10 second cranks before it lit up. Drove it around, and it ran perfect, no codes, no hesitation, no stumbles. Now it's just turning over.
Thanks for the info & sorry to hijack a thread.
