Hey everyone, this may be a bit of a long shot but I thought I'd give it a shot.

I'm looking to buy two (2) front OEM coil springs for a 2006 DC 4x4 Tundra. If anyone has any or has a good idea where to look, please let me know. Thanks.

THE BACKGROUND STORY: I recently bought some Bilstein 5100's to replace the front spacers on my truck. When I removed the front strut assembly's it turned out that the coil springs weren't OEM. I tried them on the Billy's and they bowed out quite significantly. So now I need to purchase new OEM springs. Another option I've considered is buying the Old Man Emu 2884's and setting the Billy's to zero. This should give me about 1.5" of lift. I am nervous however, that if I have any issues, I can't adjust billy's with the 2884's and may need to purchase the OEM's after the fact.

I couldn't find any Eibach stock replacements for my truck (2006 DC 4x4), nor could I find any at the link you sent. The only OEM coils I've found are quite expensive (~$450.00).

I think I've decided to go with the OME 2884 coils on my Bilsteins at the bottom setting. According to 1stGenOffRoad.com this should produce 1.5' of lift for my truck (DC 4x4). The OME 2884s with the proper coil insulators is only $254.00.

Does anyone have any experience using OME coils on Bilstein shocks? I've seen some posts speak about not mixing them but I'm not sure that is really an issue as long as I stick to the bottom notch. Also, 1stGenOffRoad sells this exact combo (https://www.1stgenoffroad.com/store/p626/Bilstein5100/OMELift.html#/) so I would think this setup works.

I plan on taking my OEM coils off when I put my new shocks and springs on. If you want them message me. 180k miles on them, but no issues. But I think you'll be better off with new springs anyway :)

Sorry, just saw this thread. Lots of folks have used the OME coils on Bilstein shocks. The OME coils can vary a lot as far as lift height though so if you are concerned about getting too high, you can always go with the Dobinson stock height coil and use the spring perch on the 5100 to lift.

I wasn't sure which 1st gen the coils would fit, as I understand it the OEM front coils are different based on the trim of the truck (2x4, 4x4, Access cab, Double Cab). The heaviest duty being the 4x4 DC which I have. I was afraid the coils may be too light duty for my heavier truck.

Does anyone have any experience with these?

I've never been able to figure out the different coils that came stock or the spring rates. The OME coils are all 590# except for the 2886 which is 660# and made for a heavy offroad bumper. The dobinson coil I linked is 641#

No idea how much of a difference the spring rate makes.
