Had my lift and diff drop installed about a year ago. Been having an annoying AF noise whenever going over a bump for a few months now, so I finally had time to look into it. When I installed my RCI skid plate I never noticed the differential supports hitting the skid plate. It appears they neglected to install a washer on the passenger side. Anyone have a part number for this washer? And is it as easy as just removing the bolt, installing the washer and torquing it down?AA08CD92-E0F0-48C0-ACF6-7CC0C1024969.jpgA6E4B5BC-D4E4-487B-9852-2D3C7046B9FC.jpgD1E0DCB2-D5E8-4BA3-9ECA-4FB48B054529.jpgDC851E57-3CB8-4951-8015-A00246CABF66.jpg
And would that be causing my rubbing issue on my rci skid? Or do I need larger spacers?

Looks to me like 1 side is not bolted down all the way and the washer is def missing. Hope it's not cross threaded.

you don't really need that diff drop anyways on a 3/1 lift.

Well after being sick yesterday, had some time to ponder either fixing it myself, taking it to the dealer or taking it back to the shop and have them fix it. Even though it’s 1.5 hours one way, I’m just going to take it back to the shop and have them fix it. And have them recheck the torque on everything else too
That was my fear also but a quick YouTube search makes it appear the bolts go straight through the cross member and screw into a nut. So it would be just a nut that they cross threaded.
Maybe so but I’ve seen info going both ways on it. The better angles have to help at least a little and I’ve already purchased it so I might as well use it.

That drop is a pain. The nut isn’t welded on top. You need little tiny hands to manipulate the washer and nut and wrench. And if you chose to undercoat underneath god help you to stay clean. I fired my wrench across the shop and tagged one of my employees in to finish the job.

**I think your upper washer on the other side is upside down as well.

I did undercoat with fluid film last fall, so that’ll be their problem getting greasy lol. So you’re saying the side that looks good, the top washer is upside down?

Well, it’s not perfect but good enough now. Just got to wait on my rci transmission skid and cat guards before I can put my engine skid back on.
