Put a TRD badge above the twinkie shelf.

Undecided if it looks tacky or not, anyone else have any opinion?

You're 100% right, also did you personally buy the grille inserts you linked?

Installed a black tailgate handle to replace the chrome, easy. Editing a simple how-to video right now for it.

    New tires today!

Pirelli Scorpion AT+ 275/65r20 P-rated tires on the stock Limited TRD wheels with stock suspension and no spacers. They're 34.1"x11.2" vs the factory 32.5"x10.8". Largest tire I could find without stepping up to an E load rating.

No poke. No rub. Didnt even pin back the liners.

Drives exactly like stock with just a touch heavier steering. No perceived increase in road noise. Exactly what I wanted! MPG differences TBD. I had 16mpg average on the computer for the first 600 miles. Not a great baseline lol

Today I got the "Northwest Protection Package", paint and interior, applied at the dealer. It may be BS, but if I get a little bit of warranty against coffee spills and food stains on the interior and some rock chips on the paint, cool.

And I took delivery of the method 705s, which will go on the truck this weekend.

Are your Predator steps for a double cab vs a crew cab? They look a bit short on the rocker panel.

Why is this not an option for all TRD trucks? I was pissed when I got mine and the steering wheel and shift knob didn't have it. I didn't even know about the passenger dash. All of it looks awesome!

Anyone painted their bumper to match the body color? Just a quick mock up on an app on my phone...

Made a quick Rotopax DIY mount. Cost was free with scrap pieces in the garage. Waiting for a '22 molle system.

Cut down a piece of 1x4 with two bolts to the c-channel, then added a back piece to fit in the divider slot of the bed to keep it from moving. Holds nicely, and prevents them from sliding around the back of bed.

Tires/Wheels are updated; Westcott 3/1 being installed on Fri.

    Method 705 18" 18mm backspace
    Maxxis RAZR AT 295/70R18

There is some rubbing at full turn, which I'm not worried about because I can just take it easy a couple days.

I did a few mile test run at freeway+ speeds, and was VERY happy that, while there's some road noise, it's not as much as a little wind noise, and less than engine noise. I'm really happy with the upgraded look, and excited to see how things look after Westcott. I'll post more before/after photos then.

Here's on the way to Les Schwab for the new goods, and back from Les Schwab, and a photo of the poke of the 18mm wheels (with my FJ cruiser in the reflection).

    IMG_5473.HEIC.jpg
    IMG_5481.HEIC.jpg
    IMG_5487.HEIC.jpg

Poke's not quite that much, as I took the photo at an angle. But the 18mm backspace and this 34-ish tire combo is pretty well known.

I can see the sun poked out a bit in between the before/after pic that made the Blueprint show up as 2 different trucks.

    Looks good

Yeah, the paint is really hard to capture, especially in not-full-sun. But clearly the sun is happy with the new shoes on this truck too :)

So you don't rub on the front mudflaps? My 295s barely clear the fender well....so I have been holding off on installing the front ones until my Westcott Black kit finally gets here....

I definitely am rubbing on the last couple inches of the tire's turn radius. For my purpose, I can put up with being careful for a couple of days. I'm not sure I'd want to do that for longer (or I'd pin back the liners, more likely).
