You may only be able to find the howard fingerboard oil at a guitar shop. I don't think Guitar Center carries, but others near you (or a luthier near you) may carry.

Really, any Howard wood treatment would work, potentially even their butcherblock oil, but I prefer the freboard oil & wax to really get fretboards shiny again. With as dry as yours is, I'd space out treatments a few hours apart, or treat once a day for a few days, then buff it out.

I mean ... I'm not a murderer or anything, but may geek out on murder/mystery type content. :D

I've read a few cases where others have used this combo, it's pretty suspicious to buy a lot of lime. It's not so unusual to buy several bags of lime over a period of time, and even less so to order soda ash.

    More practice then. ;)

CVs would be my guess for first failure.
Or the inside tire(s) will skip [audibly] as they navigate the shorter path. Bigger tires are less likely to skip and more likely to break CVs.

I literally came here to say what the guy below said. Roll-out tray.

^^This is infinitely more eloquent than a cane, rake, shovel, or toddler for retrieving things inside the bed with a closed lid. @alb1k

I’ve used crystal draino years back when it was readily available to see how well it worked on dead animals I’ve had to bury.

I'm amazed at how poorly equipped most people are to dispose of 200lbs of bad meat.
You stock up on lye a couple bags at a time. Buy it cash from the TSC and store it somewhere dry. We used ~200lbs of lye to sort out 1600lbs of meat. But that wasn't to remove all traces, just to expedite decomp.

I don't eat the flesh of the innocent.

Now if the actual apocalypse turns up and the Meijer runs out of veggie nuggets, I'm going to start with left lane cruisers and *******. Fucking lazy bastards will be nice and tender.

Had to edit that one word. Forgot I was in the open forum where the mods can punish me for thinking for myself.

Here I am doing exactly what a young sales rep prohibited and went so far as to prevent me (attempted) from buying parts. Apparently, I’m voiding my warranty. He even sent me a passionate but youthful email. Nice kid.

Sometimes you gotta go through the motions in writing just to shield your/your employer's ass from liability in the event of catastrophic event. They likely haven't tested for the use you've planned.

Sadly, machines printing warnings on the package and/or item don't necessarily cut it anymore in a court of law.

The irony is I was working to fix a safety hazard you pointed out. That initial sale went seamlessly. I explained what I wanted to fix and the kid told me it wasn't safe to do what I wanted, which is really the industry standard. They just can't get past "it isn't in our design, no one has done it that way". But I get it.

    Looks good @alb1k

Only other thing I'd add are the tethers someone previously mentioned, front and rear. Only because the added height exposes the arms to added torsion. But generally speaking, this is 1000x better, and no decap worries. I wouldn't doubt if they steal this design from you later ;)

It's a common tactic on truck forums.

I feel like assault is another one of those words.
