    Hi all.

08 4.7 giving me P0300 error and random misfires. Originally it was 1,3,5,8. I swap the coil from 1 to 2. Clear codes now I get 1,2,3,5,7. weird. swap coil and plugs from 2 to 4. clear the ECU, and now I get 1,2,3,4,5,7. WTF???

Ok, every coil I pulled was cracked. Figuring that distrubing them may be the issue, I replace 1 through 4. Starts up fine. thought I had it fixed but after the 3rd crank i get 1,2,3,4,5,6. clear the codes and let it idle I get a flashing SES light. check the codes, 3,4,5,6,7.

Picked it up from auction. it has a 9/21 registration sticker and 7/21 battery so it hasn't sat too long but probably close to 5-6 months.

UGH. I can use a little help with this one.

Check your spark plugs. I had a similar issue when I installed what turned out to be counterfeit Iridiums. Pull one or two out and see how they look. They should look perfect. The electrodes had completely melted away on the fakes in less than 40k miles.

Thanks @texmin. I pulled the plugs, they were NGK and didn't look bad. only pretty black. I replaced them with Iridum Denso's and it was the same. I took a reading from the injectors and they're at 0 ohm. that might be my issue.

    Any other thoughts?
