Hey guys, so a few weeks back, I went ahead & bought the two black pieces to replace the chrome on the back bumper from @Roman. (Side note, the day I placed the order, it shipped. So, shout-out to him for that)

Today, I went to replace the two parts but got stuck on how to get the top piece of the bumper off. It’s basically a pull out plug & a screw on the bottom. Then a two or three pullouts on the top end.

If anyone else has done this already let me know. I’m not overly mechanically inclined but this is still stumping me on what should be a relatively simply process.

$128 for both pieces after tax & shipping. I’ll attach the screen shot. If you go to Roman’s dealership’s website, you can order the 2 pieces. Still waiting on them to get the front mustache, etc in stock.

Curious what you used to squeeze and release them? Seemed pretty tough to do by hand and didn't have a set of angled pliers. Needle nose and regular pliers sorta worked, but definitely not ideal.

I used vice grips on mine today and it was very easy. Tried a few different types of pliers before landing on them. They're pretty perfect for the job
