So i ceramic tint the whole interior fronts 20%, rears 70%, even the front windshield 70%. My question for full heat rejection should I also do the sunroof?

Tinting the inside of the glass and having the sun beat on top, technically the glass is getting heated up and retaining it. Usually the heat would go through the glass, my concern is will the heat crack the glass?

Here’s my $0.02, I worked in the 12volt industry for 9 years and my best friend still holds onto a tint dying shop.

Many Years ago some cars double insulated sunroof, sorta like a house window the heat would get trapped inside if tinted “ dyed film” and could explode. Early sunroofs had that type of glass installed and “could” explode. Word got around and tint guys either did it didn’t do them. Kinda like an odd gray area.

I’ve always tinted every sunroof if applicable and that along with the entire windshield make the most difference.

Bottom line; if you have a good tinter, do it!

Tinted mine along with every other piece of glass when I got the truck a year ago. No issues.
