    Greetings,

I would like to install a cigarette lighter outlet in the bed of my truck to charge my Yeti 3000x while we are driving. Right now I use the one on the back of the center console and run the wire through the back window. The kids are complaining that "it's too loud" for them so I am looking for a better option.

The Yeti charger has a 5amp and 10amp setting (I am guessing that it would charge faster on the 10amp setting). There are a million different options on Amazon so I wanted to see if someone could recommend one that they have installed and are happy with.

    Thanks!

No specific experience but a couple of questions that may help options.

I’m guessing that you need one that is weatherproof and don’t have a bed cap (noise complaint).

Also, does it have to be a cigarette lighter receptacle, can it be a 12V polarized connector?
