Decluttering here. IIRC, was off a low-mile '92 Civic EX or Si HB I helped a friend LS-swap 15-16 years ago. I believe it was a D16Z6 engine.

No pitting, dirty but in great shape. Comes w/valve cover bolts, as pictured. All threads clean, ready to clean, coat, paint, or dress up however you want. Need it gone. Can do local pickup ITP ATL.

Another bump, surely someone must have a use for this?

I can probably ship this anywhere in CONUS ballpark $9-12.

Free bump from my nostalgia seeing this thing. Takes me back to being a teenager — I painted mine wrinkle red, and my mom was so mad I cured the paint in her oven

    Bet that smelled awesome!

That's literally what I was going to do with this thing, then give it to another friend of ours, but he died in a bike accident not long after, and it landed tucked into a corner. Still have the can of VHT crinkle paint, in red and black, still unused (sure it's bad by now). I found the damn thing leaning between a couple of studs behind the water heater in the shop while cleaning up a while back and ... here we are.

Not really any sentimental value to it necessarily, but I'd still like to see it go to a good home rather than the dump, and I'm not willing to deal with the risk of tangling with another feedback extorter on fleaBay. I had to stop selling stuff on there, the scammery seems to be rampant lately.

If it's still around when you get your splash guard mess worked out and ship me one I wouldn't mind it just to hang on the wall.

You're right! Not B16, but D16, D16Z6 to be exact. He had an EX not a CX, I guess? Damn you're good.

Oh - I emailed Eric @ Serra on this one again this week. While he's usually quick to respond, he didn't this time. I'm thinking if he's not actively looking into it, I'm at a loss. I may just need to order one to my local dealership so I can inspect the part on arrival and - hopefully - reject it if not the correct part.

Bummer. This would qualify as my 1st bad experience w/Serra of Decatur's parts department if the case.

Before my buddy got his ‘98 SI, he had a 2door with a d16 we used to race with.

I hated the 6th gens because they had that BS issue with the keyless entry not working if you upgraded the factory head unit.

We'd always cringe when one of them would roll up to the shop, knowing the only way to deal with it was to tape off the face of the unit and shove it back into the dash, then install a new HU in front of it. Only saving grace was if a customer wanted an aftermarket alarm, we could pull the old head and have the alarm do the work.

I wonder if anyone ever came up with a good solution for working around that one?
