LED replacement kit for interior & exterior lights

I bought a kit that replaced all interior lights as well as my 3rs brake light and license plate lights about 2 years ago. About 25% of them have dimmed or burned out completely. It was a kit from Amazon, but don't remember the brand.

I'm looking for a good set of lights that will last much longer. Any info would be appreciated.

 

VLeds are high quality, have a 3 year warranty iirc, and in my experience excellent customer service. The down side is you will pay more than most anything you get from Amazon but it’s worth it.

 

Second vote for VLEDs. I did the major interiors (dome, map, vanities) for about $70-80 I think. Also did some reverse lights from them for about the same. Probably the only other ones I’d swap would be the 3rd brake / bed lights if I decide to add some more. Everything else is suitable for me with the halogens.


In my previous truck I used an Amazon set did the license plates and maybe a couple more locations in addition to the interiors and while everything lasted fine, the glare from the license plate lights at night affected my backup camera view enough to notice. Didn’t feel like swapping them back despite how easy it was so I just left it and figured I’d replace with halogen again when the LEDs quit (they never did).

Again, like was said, you pay more but you get better products

 

Quality is worth the price, pay a few more bucks and don't have to worry about leds burning out all the time!

Bulbs are not just bulbs unfortunately, as you learned.
