My 2022 Platinum toy hauler did not come from the factory with sway bars. Can i bolt on TRD front and read sway bars? Believe it or not the part boys at my dealer could not answer this question and actually hung up on me when i asked if he could check with a mechanic. Talk about customer service, right? I see plenty of posts about to sway bar or not to sway bar, but nothing about if i can bolt a read bar on a truck that did not come with one.
Any tech advice would be great!

'21. Seems like i can just bolt one on, even if Toyota thought it to be unnecessary! And i thought they were smart!

You can totally bolt on both. The front is fine imo but many guys who have replaced it with the TRD swear a big difference.

The rear bar will definitely make you feel a difference.

Toyota designed the trucks to be better all around. If you slap sway bars on it, the truck isn’t gonna do as good off-road and it’s going to be more expensive to produce overall. Toyota is not dumb by any means. The truck, and most all trucks, do just fine without sway bars. The sway bar just improves on-road manners and handling. If you only plan to cruise malls with it, or spend lots of time hauling things, buy yourself a sway bar and install it.

Rear sway bar is a huge improvement on road. One of the best mods for the $, and inexpensive too, about 220-250. It is also fine for off road use but it you wheel heavy, harder trails, it will reduce articulation some. You wont notice it on milder trails, fire roads, etc.

It is a must have IMO for any truck that spends most of it's time on roads. Im in a huge, heavy, V8 brick, lifted, 33s and the truck handles and corners better than many cars.
