Hey, I'm brand new to the forum, but have been a Toyota owner for 20+ years.
3 weeks ago, I hit a buck causing about 10,000 in damages to my 2020 Tundra Double Cab. I realize I'm lucky that no one was injured and that I have a roof over my head, ect, but....The collision center estimate is 2-6 months for the Radiator Support which is essential to the completion of the repair. It is backordered, so that is just the general guesstimate, not a hard and fast promise. Could be longer. Doubt it will be shorter. In the meantime, I don't have a vehicle (my fault for not adding that to my insurance policy) or I can pay out of pocket for a rental at a rate of about 3,000 per month. To top it off, I'm 1,000 miles from home, visiting family and have my camper here as well as my kids & dog ect.
Is there any way to order this part from a different manufacturer? OR another collision center? Or do I really really really just have to sit and wait it out? I don't have the funds to dump it and buy a new vehicle. I don't have the cash to rent a rig. Thankfully I'm a stay-at-home-mom who works remotely anyhow, so I don't NEED to be home asap but being without a vehicle is HARD!!!
Part number 532010C090 is what I need.
I don't have any prior knowledge of collision repair timelines / parts manufacturing / ect so please forgive my lack of understanding in this arena!

How about looking for one in a junk yard. There could be a totaled Tundra that was rear ended or side collision with a good radiator support.

These two places has it listed. The first one doesn't say if it's in stock or not, But you can contact them to verify the availability.

The second place claims to have one in stock.

I would verify who has one or like mentioned before check the local yards for a used one.

And, I would contact the insurance company or the manager of the collision center and explain the situation about being away from home and it's impossible to wait 2-6 months and be without a vehicle that entire time frame. However, that you did locate a direct replacement etc..

    Hope this helps.
