This random thought just popped into my head when reading about different lift kits. Has anyone used the CB front shims in conjunction with a westcott collar for even MORE lift in the front? Not saying its the correct way to do it or if it would even work but considering the westcott kit does have a shim up front (although a small one) I cant imagine it being impossible to make it happen correctly.

If you have it, or have seen it chime in!

    It's good
I don't have it and haven't seen it but search Fox reservoir 0-3" coilovers. You will be way better off.

I’ve been running two coachbuilder shims on top of my westcott lift for additional inch with no issues since around November. You will need to get extended shock mount bolts to make it work. I do plan on replacing it down the road with some better coil overs more suited for the lift I’m trying to get

The Westcott front lift already comes with a 1/2” shim to install on top of the coilover. It would be exactly the same as running the 1/2” CB shim.

You're totally right. I have no desire to rid my truck of its pro suspension so ill end up with one of these kits, but just one lol. Ive got a nice setup in my FJ and theres no comparing to adjustable coilovers. Shame that toyota doesnt make the TRD Pro kit adjustable.
