I’m waiting on a 2022 Tundra Crewmax 4WD 1794 6.5’ bed with the TRD Off Road package, in Midnight Black with Saddle Tan interior.
Dealer traded allocation with another dealership in early November 2021. Build date was early December 2021. Put on QC Hold in late December 2021. Released from QC Hold in early April 2022 with expected arrival in early May 2022. There has been no explanation for the QC Hold.

Yeah, the Koons group has gone off the rails with this. They also had some of the highest marks ups I have ever seen on the 4Runner Pro in Electric Lime. Just ludicrous. From what I can tell, Sheehy Toyota of Laurel MD seems much more reasonable.

Limited crewmax 6.5 offroad mgm deposit in mid December. Last was told mid July. I've been calling allover ontario to see who has one sooner. Almost placed a deposit for a hybrid coming in mid July.

Yes i agree/disagree, I'm not trying to be hostile here

    in ohio, https://www.ohioattorneygeneral.gov/Business/Services-for-Business/Business-Guide/Deposits
    upload_2022-4-24_10-45-34.jpg
they will eventually have enough good for all consumers,

since i told the dealer exactly what I wanted, with no other options than what we agreed upon, and i told them if it had anything else on it that i didn't want, i would not buy it
therefore it would be considered a "custom order vehicle", in which the deposit would stand as non refundable, out of the many hours I've spent looking at autotrader and looking up the Moroney labels for trucks posted on there, i have only saw 1 truck exactly the way I wanted it, same options, color, etc. and it went to a PA dealer.

if i choose to walk away and lose $500, I'm at an ok spot in my life that i can, heck, i can go to the casino and blow $500 in about 20 mins, surely i feel like an ass when that happens, but I've done it before

I'll probably start getting serious about looking - looking to get one late fall maybe - went to the sales floor 2 weeks ago while my 2011 brakes were being replaced. Asked about a 1794 LB, w/TRDOR 4x4 blueprint with saddle interior - they said, lead time is 203 days at that point  Wow... said they'd take a $2500 deposit to put me in line for an allocation. I said thanks, I'll wait. They only had 2 on site, and both were already sold - via some method, where they don't even have the keys for them????? not sure how that's possible. but ... I think the head office must lock them up - and not let them out to the sales people.

Same! Did you get a pre-adjustment build? I figure we're a ways out before the R1S actually arrives and by then I’ll decide if I want to keep the tundra, upgrade the wifes car or just sell it seeing as my quoted price is now 30k less than what the market will pay.

Very excited for the Rivian, but I’m also a little skeptical still.

Yep. Be lucky to see the Rivian before the end of '23. Because her work requires returning to the office we couldn't wait, we bought a used Tesla for her commute. Hopefully we'll keep both electric cars and the Tundra will just be a toy.

Crew max, 5.5' bed, SR5 TRD Off Road in MGM (the fastest color).

I was told end of May or early June delivery as it was already in the dealer's allocation. I haven't gottn any updates as it's still early and I haven't asked. I won't be real upset if it's delayed a little. Just means more money put down to offset Toyota Canada's ludicrous 4.99% interest rate.

I had to Google this one as it didn’t come readily to me

…still trying to figure out as the answers (on Reddit anyway) was even more confusing though I think we are circling around MJ and his video/song and not the Resusci no Anne doll/death mask from original CPR training

I'm in nearly the same boat, put deposit down March 7, for a Platinum that already was allocated to the dealer for a 4/9 build, 2 weeks ago it got pushed back to a 5/6 build date. Early May is pretty optimistic by your dealer, hope you have better luck than mine.

My dealer told me that there were no Tundras allocated to our region in mid March due to a temporary production shutdown. At the early April allocation he told me there were only 5 Platinums allocated to our "region". I asked him what our region was and he said it was NJ, NY and CT. Being an inquisitive guy, I did some checking and found that the total population of the 3 states was about 31,000,000. So that was one truck for every 6.2 million people! I became very discouraged, figuring I had a better chance of being struck by lightning. I am not willing to wait forever, and at that point, I came very close to buying a new, refreshed and fully equipped Silverado High Country. However, that dealer kept changing the price on me and I won't play that game. Shortly after that I was informed that a Platinum had been reserved for me.

I think it's safe to assume that due to supply shortages production is slowed and even stops at times. With the timing and what my dealer told me, I suspect you were a victim of the slowdown/stoppage my dealer told me about. Hopefully, you and I will experience no further delays... but I wouldn't bet on that.

I actually like that Toyota is slowing production in order to put out fully equipped vehicles, rather than doing what GM is doing. They are pumping out the trucks, and if there are part shortages they leave options out. If not for this I would have likely purchased a GM, but I want a fully equipped truck.

We'll have transporter technology, Star Trek-style, by then. Hell, given the way Toyota does things, we may have it before the Gen 4.

That is the Annie he is referencing. The phrase used in CPR class is "Annie are you ok?" when you check the status of the patient. The Annie rescue mannequin was created using the likeness of the face of the suicide Annie.

Waiting for a 4x4 Crewmax Limited 6.5ft bed without a bunch of fluff added that I don't need (TRD Offroad, JBL, bed liner, black badges, etc). Unfortunately that's a unicorn in the PNW. No biggie as I'd rather wait a model year anyways and hope they get some of the issues ironed out. The mrs is actually wanting me to get one more than I am right now ha She is tired of cramming gear, kid, dog, etc into my 2018 taco.
